Audrey Van Belleghem, Business Lead for the Infrastructure Foundation Organization at Facebook, presents insights learned from successfully launching two cohort groups remotely. During this session, learn which qualities make a remote Returner successful and how to identify those qualities during a VC interview. Audrey will also share details around new support systems developed to guide "work from home" Returners toward graduation and conversion into full time careers.

Audrey Van Belleghem serves as Business Lead in Facebook's Infrastructure group, managing the execution of complex, cross-functional operations and programs. One of the strategic initiatives she supports is Facebook’s Return to Work Program. Though piloted in Infrastructure, the program has grown across the company and has offered roles in Instagram, WhatsApp, and the AR/VR organizations. Previous roles Audrey has held include Senior Vice President of Operations and the Grace Hopper Celebration at, a non-profit organization supporting women in technology, and Chief of Staff of Engineering at NetApp, a Fortune 500 company providing storage and data management solutions. Audrey has been named a Woman of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal and has been recognized by the U.S. Department of State as a Technical Mentor to women in the Middle East and North Africa. Audrey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, and a Masters of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley.
