JPMC ReEntry was faced with a decision when COVID-19 hit and their 2020 cohort was scheduled to start the same week remote work started at JPMC. Their decision: should they delay the start of the cohort or proceed? They decided to delay the start until early May and launched virtually. In a fireside chat with Carol Fishman Cohen, JPMC's Lucida Plummer will share best practices and takeaways from the virtual launch and running of their 2020 ReEntry program.

Lucida Plummer

Executive Director, Global Head of Diversity, Asset & Wealth Management, at J.P. Morgan

As the global head of diversity, Lucida is responsible for driving the global diversity and inclusion strategy for the business and working with senior leaders to drive accountability and engagement around attracting, retaining and promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Lucida was previously the vice president, Diversity & Inclusion for Wyndham Worldwide where she was responsible for creating and executing key diversity and inclusion initiatives. She led the Global Diversity Council, which was chaired by the CEO, to review key diversity initiatives and data and led an initiative to identify diverse high growth consumer segments across Wyndham’s lines of business. Lucida also worked across the enterprise to identify strategic opportunities and partnerships with key leaders, diverse populations, and external organizations to enhance Wyndham's reputation as an employer of choice and a diversity leader.

Prior to that role, Lucida was the director, Global Diversity & Inclusion, for MetLife. She was directly accountable for restructuring 30 US diversity networks with over 5,000 members and launching global women’s business networks in over 20 countries in alignment with MetLife’s global diversity and inclusion strategy.

Before moving into Diversity & Inclusion, Lucida leveraged her human resources experience across a wide range of industries with a particular focus on employee relations and employee engagement.

Lucida obtained a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, NY and her undergraduate in Psychology from the State University at Albany, Albany, NY. She lives in Rockland County, NY with her husband and son.
